We build custom ladder solutions for various applications, ranging from exterior roof access, interior access to roof hatches and platforms, to complex dynamic bridge systems.
Due to modern building designs, most maintenance works must traverse varying roof levels. Permanently fixed ladders allow workers to safely access these levels with ease.
Use a roof access ladder with a return when traversing walls, obstacles, or tall parapets. Custom ladders can be built for any application.
Our industrial ladders have a typical 20" rung width, but can be custom sized anywhere between 16" and 24" as the project requires.
Rungs are attached with heavy duty, plug welded assembly.
Add-on TundraGrip® rung covers are available to increase traction in wet, oily, or icy conditions. We also provide SlipNot® rungs when maximum traction is required.
Effective November 2018, OSHA General Industry regulation 1910.28(b)(9) dictates that cages no longer provide compliant fall protection for new ladders over 24’ tall.
Existing ladder cages have been grandfathered into compliance for now, but as of November 2036, cages will no longer be compliant on any new or existing system.
When required, ladders are spliced into sections for installation/shipping.
Portable ladders 1 in 4 off vertical approx. 15°.
Fixed ship’s ladders between 50° and 70°.
Stairs from 39° to 50° used for access to non-habitable rooms.
The range allowed under the BCA regs. 18° to 38°.
Steep driveway 1 in 6.
Ramp 1 in 8.
Ramp 1 in 14 for wheelchair access.
Similar to a ships ladder, it is designed to be used when not enough space exists for a conventional staircase and a standard ladder can't be used due to worker's requirement to carry equipment up it.

Retractable ladders are used to limit and prevent access for security purposes. Also for use when the ladder needs to be kept out of the way of pedestrians or equipment.
Hook-on ladders are used when ladders are located over a piece of equipment or door way that cannot be permanently blocked. A fixed ladder section is permanently mounted, and a removable section simply hooks onto the fixed ladder, resting on the ground at a slight angle.
Increase safety by adding aggressive treads to your rungs for extra grip in oily, icy,or muddy conditions.
Adding security with anti-climb devices helps prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas. We manufacture our doors in two styles: hinged, best for newladders, and lift off, most often for retrofits.
All doors are typically 8 feet tall but can be built to any specification.
Also known as rail extensions, these are to aid the worker with safe entry and exit from the roof hatch.
Hatch openings shall be provided with a means to facilitate access and exit from a fixed ladder (i.e. Grab Bars or other such items that can be grasped by the climber).
